Lymphedema Management
Lymphedema is an accumulation of fluid in the superficial tissues, most commonly present in arms, legs, head, neck, breasts and abdomen. While it is a common condition, if left untreated, lymphedeman could have serious side effects. Secondary lymphedema can be caused by surgery, radiation, trauma or infection. For patients suffering from any of these conditions, treatment options may include manual lymph drainage and complete decongestive physiotheraphy.

Referral process
All patients will require a physician's written prescription for lymphatic therapy. You may then call during regular office hours to schedule appointments.
We accept Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances. Please verify that your insurance covers lymphatic therapy at Merit Health River Oaks.
